About Uganda
Uganda is the reason people cross a border. Bwindi is one of a handful of places on earth where you can sit with mountain gorillas, and the walk in — steep, wet, and genuinely hard — is part of why the hour with them lands the way it does. It is greener and less visited than its neighbours, and it rewards anybody who gives it more than the three nights most itineraries allow.

Where to go in Uganda
When should I come?
The best months are shown on every destination card. In broad terms the dry seasons — January to February and June to October — are easiest, but the green season has fewer people, lower rates and better light.
How long do I need here?
Three nights is the minimum worth doing. Two nights means one full day, and travel days on either side.
Can I combine it with somewhere else?
Almost always. Tell us your dates and we will propose the pairing that works for that time of year.
Shall we build you a route through Uganda?
Seven short questions and a real itinerary comes back within a day.
