Where the safari was invented
Kenya has the deepest safari infrastructure in Africa, which shows in the quality of the guiding more than anything else. A Kenyan silver-level guide has passed examinations that do not exist in most of the continent.
It also means variety: grassland, desert, mountain, forest and reef, all within a day of Nairobi.

When should I come?
The best months are shown on every destination card. In broad terms the dry seasons — January to February and June to October — are easiest, but the green season has fewer people, lower rates and better light.
How long do I need here?
Three nights is the minimum worth doing. Two nights means one full day, and travel days on either side.
Can I combine it with somewhere else?
Almost always. Tell us your dates and we will propose the pairing that works for that time of year.
Shall we build you a route through Kenya?
