Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Duma Tours representative and transferred privately to your hotel. Settle into your room and enjoy time to relax after your international flight. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a leisurely dinner and a short safari briefing to prepare for the adventure ahead. Maasai Mara
Day 2: Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara, subject to the confirmed flight schedule. Enjoy scenic views of Kenya's dramatic landscapes before landing at a local airstrip, where your private safari guide will meet you. Transfer to your camp and settle in before lunch. Later, head out for your first afternoon game drive in one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife reserves. Search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and the Mara's famous big cats. Day 3: Full-day Masai Mara safari and romantic experiences
Enjoy a full day exploring the Masai Mara with your private safari guide. Begin with an early morning game drive when predators may be active and the plains are bathed in soft golden light. Look for lions resting after a hunt, cheetahs scanning the grasslands, elephants moving between feeding grounds and other wildlife that makes the Mara so special. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebra during the Great Migration. Return to camp for lunch and relaxation or enjoy a picnic lunch during an extended game drive. Spend the afternoon exploring another part of the reserve before returning to camp. Optional honeymoon experience: A sunrise hot-air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast can be arranged at an additional cost. Day 4: Masai Mara to the Serengeti, Tanzania
After breakfast, transfer to the agreed airstrip for your planned regional flight connection into Tanzania. The precise routing depends on the airline schedule, border and immigration arrangements, and the Serengeti airstrip serving your selected camp. On arrival, meet your Tanzanian safari guide and transfer to your lodge or tented camp. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the Serengeti's open plains, dotted with rocky kopjes and acacia trees. The Serengeti is renowned for its lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and seasonal wildebeest migration. Settle into camp for dinner and an evening together in the wilderness. Day 5: Full-day Serengeti wildlife safari
Wake up to the sights and sounds of the African bush before setting off on a full-day safari across the Serengeti. Your guide will choose the best wildlife-viewing areas based on recent sightings and the location of the camp. Explore the plains in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife. If your travel dates coincide with the Great Migration in the region you are visiting, you may also encounter enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and a relaxing night together. Day 6: Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Travel through changing landscapes from the vast Serengeti plains towards the cooler highlands. Along the way, you may see wildlife near the road and enjoy views of Tanzania's distinctive countryside. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim or in the surrounding highlands. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the scenery before dinner. This overnight location is chosen to make the following morning's crater descent more convenient. Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater safari and flight to Zanzibar
Rise early for breakfast before descending into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife drive. The crater's varied habitats support elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and many other species. The endangered black rhino may also be seen, although sightings are never guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater excursion before ascending and transferring towards the agreed departure airport. Take a scheduled flight to Zanzibar, subject to available connections and the timing of the crater visit. On arrival in Zanzibar, meet your transfer driver and continue to your beach resort. Check in, unwind and enjoy your first evening beside the Indian Ocean. Planning note: This is a busy travel day. The crater excursion and flight must be coordinated carefully, and an overnight in Arusha may be preferable if suitable same-day flights are unavailable. Learn about the island's Swahili heritage and the mix of African, Arab, Indian and European influences that shaped its culture. Depending on opening hours and your interests, your tour may include selected heritage landmarks and the waterfront. You may also visit a spice farm to discover the cloves, cinnamon, vanilla and other aromatic spices that have made Zanzibar famous. Return to your resort later in the day for a relaxed evening. Alternatively, visit Jozani Forest to look for Zanzibar's endemic red colobus monkeys or spend another day relaxing on the beach. Day 12: Departure from Zanzibar
Enjoy breakfast at your resort before checking out. Your driver will transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward flight. If your flight departs later in the day, you may have time for a final walk along the beach or a relaxed drink before leaving the island.
