DAY 1: NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Nairobi | Amboseli | Afternoon Game Drive
Your Amboseli adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Meet your private safari guide and depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park.
Travel through the beautiful landscapes of southern Kenya towards the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is approximately 220 to 265 km from Nairobi depending on the route and park gate used.
Arrive in Amboseli around midday and enjoy lunch at your selected lodge or camp.
After lunch begin your first game drive across the Amboseli ecosystem.
Keep your camera ready for elephants crossing the open plains with Mount Kilimanjaro rising dramatically in the background. You may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, gazelles and a variety of bird species.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: FULL DAY AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Wake up early for one of the most rewarding moments of your safari.
After breakfast depart for an early morning game drive when wildlife is active and the light is ideal for photography. Clear mornings can also provide some of the best opportunities to see Mount Kilimanjaro above the Amboseli plains.
Explore the park's open grasslands and wetlands while searching for elephants and other wildlife.
Amboseli's permanent swamps attract wildlife throughout the year and provide some of the park's most spectacular viewing opportunities. The park is also home to more than 400 recorded bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your game drive.
Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views across the Amboseli ecosystem when conditions and park regulations allow.
Optional Maasai cultural visit can be arranged in the afternoon for travelers who would like to experience local traditions and community life.
Return to your lodge in the evening.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI TO NAIROBI
Wake up early for your final Amboseli game drive.
This is another excellent opportunity for wildlife photography and potentially seeing elephants and other animals against the morning landscape.
Return to your lodge for breakfast before checking out.
Depart Amboseli and drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route.
Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon where your private safari ends with drop-off at your hotel airport or preferred location.
